The Friends of the Mississauga Library System (Charitable Registration Number: 77430 9314 RR0001) was established in 1989. It is a volunteer, non-profit organization, registered as a charitable corporation with CRA. Since its inception, the Friends of the Mississauga Library System has donated over $3.2 million in funds and volunteer hours to support the programs and services of the Mississauga Library System.
Online Bookstore
A selection of our good-quality books are available online through Amazon. If there is something that piques your interest, a pick-up can be arranged in person. Please reach out at folmississauga@gmail.com with the subject line “Online Order: Reservation”. You can also reach out to inquire regarding particular literary works you are in search of.
In-Person Book Sales
The Hazel McCallion Central Library (301 Burnhamthorpe Road West, Mississauga) has a publicly open sales area dedicated to books curated by the Friends of the Mississauga Library System. Upon entering the library, walk past the checkout desks and turn right. The sales area is by the windows.
